Step 1 Prepare the Yam Flour:

⦁ Sieve the yam flour to remove any debris or large particles.

⦁ Gradually add water to the sieved yam flour, mixing thoroughly in a circular motion until it forms small grains similar to couscous.
Step 2 Steam the Yam Flour:

⦁ Bring a pot of water to a boil.

⦁ Place a steamer or colander over the boiling water and pour the yam flour mixture into it.

⦁ Cover and steam for about 15 minutes, stirring gently after the first 10 minutes.
Step 3 Rinse and Steam Again:

⦁ Remove the steamed yam flour from the steamer and rinse it in cold water to remove any remaining particles and bitterness.
