White vs Yellow Ogi — What’s the Difference?

Both are authentic fermented maize Ogi — but they have distinct characters:

• White Ogi (this product) — lighter colour, milder and more delicate flavour, preferred for babies and those who enjoy a subtler taste
• Yellow Ogi (Tasty Pot) — deeper golden colour, fuller and earthier flavour, slightly bolder taste

How to Prepare

1. Add 3–4 tablespoons of Graceco White Maize Ogi Powder to a bowl
2. Mix with a small amount of cold water — stir thoroughly until completely smooth and lump-free. Always mix with cold water first
3. Bring a generous amount of water to a boil in a saucepan
4. Slowly pour the smooth paste into the boiling water, stirring continuously — or pour boiling water directly onto the paste and stir rapidly
5. Keep stirring until the Ogi thickens to your preferred creamy consistency
6. Serve hot — sweeten with sugar and add evaporated milk, condensed milk, or fresh milk to taste
