We allow a 24-hour window from the time you place your order to request a cancellation. Within this period, we can easily stop the processing of your order and issue a full refund.

2. How to Request a Cancellation

3. Orders Already Processed or Shipped

Our team works quickly to ensure your African groceries reach you as fast as possible.

  • Processed Orders: If your order has already been processed or handed over to our shipping partners after the 24-hour window, we cannot cancel the order.
  • Return Process: In such cases, you must wait to receive the package and then follow our Refund & Return Policy to send the items back to us.

4. Cancellation Fees

  • Within 24 Hours: There are no fees for cancellations made within the 24-hour window. You will receive a 100% refund.
  • Post-Processing: If an order is cancelled after shipping (which is only possible through a return), the customer is responsible for any return shipping costs as outlined in our Refund & Return Policy.

5. Refund Timeline for Cancelled Orders

Once your cancellation request is approved:

  • Approval: We will confirm the cancellation via email.
  • Refund Method: The refund will be credited back to your original payment method.
  • Processing Time: It typically takes 10 business days (Mon to Fri) for the funds to appear in your bank account, depending on your card issuer or bank.

6. Cancellation of Recurring Orders/Subscriptions

If you have set up a recurring order or subscription for specific food items, you can cancel it at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us at least 48 hours before the next scheduled dispatch.

7. Right to Cancel by DUABA AFRO FOODS LTD

We reserve the right to cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Product Availability: If an item is unexpectedly out of stock or discontinued.
  • Pricing Errors: If there was a significant technical error in the listed price.
  • Security & Fraud: If our system identifies an order as potentially fraudulent or high-risk.
    In any such case, you will be notified immediately and issued a full refund.
