Description

Mbinzo, also known as caterpillars, is a popular delicacy in the Democratic Republic of Congo. These edible caterpillars are often harvested during the rainy season and are known for their high protein content and nutritional value.   • 1 large onion (chopped)
  • 2-3 red chili peppers (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

    Soak the dried caterpillars in hot water for about 30 minutes to rehydrate. Drain and rinse them thoroughly to remove any impurities.
